The country house is fully restored, and it offers a lovely, classic combination of bricks and wooden beams with terracotta tiles. As a result, the design of this property lies on the same wavelength of Le Marche’s typical country style.
This lovely home offers approximately 325 sq.m. of accommodation arranged over 4 floors:
The ground floor is accessible via internal staircase from the basement, as well as via an entry door from the garden. The first room you see is a bright living room enjoying white wooden beams and terracotta tiles on the ceiling, while a nice pattern of ceramic tiles has been used for the flooring. The room is also provided with a fireplace, and with three French windows that lead directly out to the wonderful garden. This could be the perfect place to welcome your guests when it’s cold outside. You can light the fireplace, and create a warm, cozy ambience for your guests.
Next to the living room, a hallway leads you to a double bedroom on the right, to a bathroom on the left, while at the end you find another double bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
On the first floor, you find a double bedroom, and a master bedroom both with en-suite bathroom. The master bedroom has also stairs leading to a mezzanine (spatially located on the level of the second floor). This space can be used as storage for fitness equipment, suitcases, blankets etc. All the bedrooms preserve the same characteristics of the living room in terms of flooring and ceiling. Illuminating the room with daylight, a French window leads to a small balcony that offers a magnificent view of the countryside.
On the second floor, you find a home library, where you can read your favorite books without interruptions, as if it were your personal haven.
The basement is accessible via an internal staircase, as well as via a wide French window at the back of the house. Down here, a spacious living room with brick walls, and barrel vault ceiling greets you warmly. Indeed, you find a big pool table and a fantastic island fireplace, which make this space perfect to entertain your guests in a snug, authentic ambience.
Next to the living room, you find an open-plan kitchen with island. Similarly to the previous room, the kitchen room is fully covered in bricks, and features a barrel vault ceiling. Under a cute niche in the wall, you find the sink and a countertop; while in the island there’s a stove, an extractor hood, another countertop to cook, and a counter to eat, which is provided with some stools. Just to give you a suggestion, this space could be perfect to organize small cooking classes for you friends, or for tourists in case you opt to rent out the property.
The property has also a 125 sq.m outbuilding that needs restoration. This spacious building could be turned into additional living space, as well as into a SPA, or garage.
The 5.000 sq.m. garden and the amazing swimming pool are probably the flagships of this gorgeous country house in Le Marche.
Around the house there is a paved patio with a great pizza oven and BBQ. This space serves as a perfect BBQ area, where you can organize al-fresco dinners and parties, while cooking Italian genuine delicacies such as meat, pizza, bread, focaccia and many others.
Embellishing this already fantastic property, a perfectly manicured garden develops all around, providing luxuriant vegetation. Also, a quaint fountain is situated in the middle of the garden, while lovely bushes are geometrically displaced to form a sort of path inside the vegetation. The garden has also some olive trees and some fruit trees.
Not far from the house, a stunning, panoramic swimming pool will delight you with the beautiful sight of the rolling hills, straw yellow fields, and faraway, dreamy mountains. Around the pool, you find a paved patio, onto which you can put sun loungers to get a cool tan, as well as a sunshade and some tables to enjoy a delightful aperitif, while the gentle breeze and the songs of the crickets lull you.
This unique property in Le Marche distances only 4 minutes from the medieval village of Castelleone di Suasa, which provides typical churches, monuments, and also archeological sites. In fact, ancient Roman ruins have been discovered here, such as the Domus of Coiedii (an ancient Roman house), an amphitheater, sepulchral areas, ancient Roman roads etc.
Not far from the house, you find the picturesque medieval villages of Ostra Vetere (9 minutes), and Corinaldo (12 minutes), in which you can find beautiful churches, Pozzo della Polenta (an ancient water mill inside the village), and the municipal theatre “Carlo Goldoni” (built in 1861). In fact, it has been listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy, and it hosts the superb Church of Santa Maria delle Tinte, and golden bronze statues of Cartoceto di Pergola.
