Our conversation with Mark & Meltem

Some relationships with Italy begin long before a property search; they are built through years of visits, memorable meals, favourite places and the feeling of always wanting to come back.

When Mark and Meltem, approached us to help them find a home in Le Marche, the decision to buy in Italy was already clear. What they were looking for was the right place, somewhere that reflected the lifestyle they had come to love over the years. Drawn to Le Marche for its authenticity, beautiful landscapes and slower pace of life, they set out to find a property that felt genuinely theirs.

In this conversation, they share what first attracted them to the region, what made this particular property stand out, and why the experience became much more than simply buying a house.

What first drew you to Italy and why did you feel that region Marche was the right place for you?

We had fallen in love with Italy long before buying a home here: the lifestyle, the food, the people, and the landscapes. Le Marche stood out because it feels authentic, offers stunning nature, and is far less crowded than many of Italy’s more famous regions.

What made this particular property feel right?

This property felt special from the very first moment. The combination of privacy, breathtaking views, the character of the house and the surrounding land gave us an immediate feeling that we had found the right place. It was one of the very few properties where we instantly thought: this is it.

What aspects of the local culture resonated most with you?

The warmth of the people, the relaxed pace of life, and the strong appreciation for family, good food, and community. Life here feels focused on quality rather than stress.

What made you feel that working with us was the right decision for you?

Throughout the entire process, we felt well supported and genuinely advised. We especially appreciated your local expertise, quick communication, and the feeling that our interests always came first.

If you had to describe this experience in one sentence, what would it be?

Buying this home was not just a property purchase, it was the beginning of a new chapter in our lives.
