The House

This lovely house in Marche was rebuilt from scratch in 2018: one of the greatest privileges is that the local municipality allowed to create a new shape, with a 9m long window at the front and 5 ground to ceiling windows at the back, all enveloped by local stones.

The house develops over a total area of 120 sq.m. all on one floor, although the sleeping area has been cleverly designed 3 steps above the living area, as to visually divide the two areas.

The living room is open-plan with the kitchen and it’s masterfully designed to enjoy the spectacular view over the countryside and the medieval town of Ostra Vetere, thanks to the 9m long window, that you can open completely, as to create an endless flow between the garden and the interiors. The window is cleverly equipped with an electric shading system, if you prefer to get some shade during sunset.

The fully equipped kitchen with island, will let you cook excellent meals to be shared with your friends in one of the several spots created inside and outside the house.

Three steps above the living level, you enter the sleeping area, composed of 2 bedrooms which share a bathroom with shower and a master bedroom with private bathroom, featuring a shower that can also be used as a tub. From the master bedroom you can have direct exit out to one of the pergolas and enjoy an Italian breakfast with cappuccino at sunrise. The Garden

The garden and lawn are young and well-maintained, decorated with olive trees, agapanthus and other species of local trees and flowers. It is mainly flat – meaning more enjoyable – and measures about 3.700 sq.m.

In a super panoramic position, there’s a swimming pool (with salt system) measuring 9x3m, with dark grey liner, giving it a colour that matches perfectly with the surrounding landscape. From all corners of the house, you can enjoy breathtaking views over the rolling hills of Marche covered with sunflowers, hilltop towns and the mountains from a distance.

The Location

In this part of region Marche, nature is luxuriant and uncontaminated. You can breathe clean air and the countryside is still pristine. You will better understand this when, on summer nights, thanks to the absence of city-light pollution, you will be able to admire splendidly starred skies and fireflies.

Reaching the property is very easy and fast: the closest town is just 1,6 kms away and the road is all paved, so you can enjoy a nice walk to town, where you can find all services, as well as nice restaurants, bars and osterias.

The house is literally 20-30 minutes from everything: Senigallia and its sandy beaches, Gola della Rossa nature park for some hiking or biking, Corinaldo and its medieval borgo, the airport of Ancona-Falconara. And in between, a multitude of hilltop villages where festivals and sagre are organized all year round to give locals and tourists a little bit of fun.
