This is an exclusive private 472 sq.m. Villa immersed in the lush knolls of the Marche countryside. In its tall and boxy standing, this is what remains of one of the many ancient traditional farmhouses scattered all over rural Italy, where farmers and their large families have been gathering for centuries and centuries, working the land and caring for their animals. You can tell it used to be part of this ancient world because of its many large rooms and the grand living area which is practically tailor-made for big reunions.
This enchanting villa is built on two floors, with its many windows and glazed doors creating an extremely open and bright space, great for Summer. The property is currently employed as one big house, but could also be turned into two separate apartments with an independent entrance. The left wing of the Villa used to have a kitchen which then was turned into a living room, but can still potentially become a dining/kitchen area once again.
Right Wing of The Villa
From a grand glazed door you access this floor, which is employed as the day-time area of the villa. Here you find a spacious living/dining room – an extremely bright space thanks to the 5 French-windows leading out to the garden. Left Wing of The Villa
This wing is what could easily be turned into a separate 4-people apartment. You either access this area from the main entrance of the villa, which is connected to the other wing, or you can step in through the many French windows, if you prefer to have a separate entrance. It is now used as another living space of the villa, but by simply closing a door it can become a fully independent apartment.
Here you can find an entrance/lounge area which is now used as a studio. Stepping right you access a master bedroom with its private bathroom and a large French window overlooking the garden.
From the entrance you can also access the bright living area, which used to be a kitchen/dining room. Having been thought out as a kitchen, it can be easily restored as such once again, thus making this area fully independent.
This wing’s first floor is accessible either through the internal staircase or via an external staircase, which is a feature typical of traditional marchigiano farmhouses. Here you will find a grand master bedroom with en-suite bathroom. This area can also be used as a studio, as well as a bedroom thanks to its good dimension and brightness – it enjoys 4 windows and one glazed door leading out to the external staircase.

This property is located in the municipality of Rosora, a small village near Jesi. This area is particularly famous for its traditional white wine – Verdicchio. From the top of the village, you can spot the many family-owned vineyards, an activity which has been passed down from generation to generation for centuries. By the way, it’s in Jesi that in 1194 Holy Roman Emperor Frederick II was born, and this city holds on tight to the pride of having welcomed an Emperor into the world.
In Jesi you can also find the splendid Pergolesi Theatre, a one-of-a-kind exemplar of rococo art and some enchanting paintings by Lorenzo Lotto, one of the greatest painters of the Italian Renaissance.
Not far from here you also find Fabriano, an exquisite town worldwide known for its artisanal paper-making tradition which is absolutely worth a visit. You ought to get lost in its cobblestone alleys, its stone loggias and taste its amazing traditional salami – Fabriano’s Soppressata.
For those who love long picturesque walks in nature, only 17 km from this property you can find the Gola della Rossa – Frasassi Natural Park, a park of ten thousand hectares of land, excellent if you like hiking or biking and and where you can find some of the most beautiful natural formations of central Italy – as well as splendid abbeys and churches hidden in the steep gorges of this karstic land. Here you can also visit the splendid Frasassi Caves, which are a natural work of art.
All in all, this area is quiet and almost magical, yet not too secluded: only 10 minutes away you find the SS76, a road connecting the inland to the coast which allows you to reach the seaside in only 30 minutes.
